  • Where are the classes held?
Classes are held outdoors over the summer months at River Street Reserve. Indoor options for the colder months can be discussed on a case by case basis.
  • How much do they cost?
Private sessions for 1-2 people cost $60. Group classes cost $20 per person. Concession rates can be discussed.
  • Do I have to commit or can I just come to a class to see if I like it?
As I am only teaching by appointment for now, it is the perfect time to come and learn about the benefits of yoga and see if it's right for you!
  • How do I pay for a class?
You can pay in cash on the day, by internet transfer, PayPal or PayID. Contact Lakes Yoga for bank details.
  • What do I need to bring to class?
Everything is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer and a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothing to class, for example no denim or skirts. As classes are outdoors at the moment, please wear warm clothing and bring a blanket.
  • Can I bring my mobile phone or pager to class?
Yes you can, but please keep them on silent so as not to disturb the other students.
  • What should I eat or drink before a class?
Try not to eat anything within two hours of class, except maybe a light snack, as a full tummy that's busy digesting food is likely to feel quite uncomfortable during class! Drinking water is fine.
  • What can I do if I am pregnant?
You may attend class if you are pregnant, but please let me know. If it is possible that you are in the early stages of pregnancy please do not do any strong abdominal exercises or postures that compress the abdomen as these could endanger the foetus.
  • I am a beginner. Which class should I attend?
You may attend any casual class or beginners course. Beginners are catered for at all casual classes, except when specified that it is an intermediate or advanced class.
