Where are the classes held?
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current pandemic, classes are by appointment and numbers restricted. Please contact Lakes Yoga to enquire about bookings.
How much do they cost?
Do I have to commit or can I just come to a class to see if I like it?
You are welcome to come to a class to see if you like it although it is recommended to try at least 5 classes to get an idea of the benefits of yoga.
How do I pay for a class?
You can pay in cash on the day or by internet transfer. Contact Lakes Yoga for bank details.
What do I need to bring to class?
PLEASE NOTE: due to the current pandemic, it is requested that you bring your own mat (and bolster and blanket if you wish). Used, studio mats are available for purchase or hire at a small cost.
Can I bring my mobile phone or pager to class?
Yes, you can, but please keep them on silent so as not to disturb the other students.
What should I eat or drink before a class?
What can I do if I am pregnant?
You may attend class if you are pregnant, but please let your teacher know. If it is possible that you are in the early stages of pregnancy please do not do any strong abdominal exercises or postures that compress the abdomen as these could endanger the foetus.
I am a beginner. Which class should I attend?
You may attend any casual class or beginners course. Beginners are catered for at all casual classes, except when specified that it is an intermediate or advanced class.
